Im not that familiar with makeup and application where do I start?
Makeup is a personal choice and this class is intended to give you the tools needed to make those decisions yourself. It takes time, practice, trips to Ulta and Sephora, watching YouTube tutorials to get your personal choices. There are so many products out there and they change often. You WILL need application tools regardless:
brushes - there are SOOO many options out there and really you can spend loads on these but not necessary. Ive got these from Amazon and have been pretty happy
Makeup sponges - Beauty Blender
makeup pads - Cotton Rounds
Q-tips
How do I learn about good products?
As mentioned this is a personal choice, everyone’s skin is different ranging from oily to combo to dry. All makeup is not the same for each skin type and what works for one wont work for another. However the best way to learn is to find a YouTube influencer that has the same skin type that does reviews. Here are some recommendations below but explore and find people that work and speak to you! YouTube Makeup Rabbit Holes can be fun!
Oily - Nikkia Joy (she also has her own cosmetic line that is great)
Combination - Tati
Dry - Mallory
Generally good folks to learn and follow regardless of skin type:
