Raqs Flames - Novice Night at Flames - May 9th, 2024

We had so much fun at our first Raqs Flames Novice Night! Thanks to all of our beautiful dancers who came to dance and some of them to get their sea legs performing in a restaurant for the first time. They all were fabulous!

Aleena

Introducing Aleena, a seasoned dancer with over 21 years of experience and a deep passion for belly dance. Her journey into the world of belly dance began in 2014. Trained in Belly Dance Fusion at the Fairport Dance Academy in Ohio under the expert guidance of Nicole Hill, Aleena brings a unique blend of skill and creativity to her performances. Her talent has been showcased on stages with the esteemed Florida Southern College Dance Department, where she mesmerized audiences with her graceful movements and expressive storytelling. Aleena believes that belly dance is not just a dance form but a powerful expression of femininity and joy!

Daniela

Meet Daniela, a passionate belly dancer from Venezuela, who has been practicing Belly Dance, particularly Egyptian style since 2012. Her journey began at a vibrant dance academy in Venezuela, where her talent blossomed, leading her to clinch the prestigious title of Best Choreography in 2015. Joining forces with the esteemed Troupe Oracle of Flow of Belly Dance & Beyond Studios, Daniela enchanted spectators in four Haflas, weaving tales of rhythm and grace. Recently, she took center stage for her first solo performance in February 2024, marking a thrilling new chapter in her dance odyssey.

Isa Kalila

Isa Kalila is an award-winning belly dancer who discovered her passion at age 11, nurtured by her professional musical theatre background, and guided by her mother. She's trained under a community of deeply skilled bellydancers, and international instructors. Now, she Co-owns Bellydance and Beyond studios in Titusville. Specializing in Egyptian Bellydance Classes and managing the Children's Bellydance Program, Isa Kalila shares her love for the art's deep roots and history, captivating audiences with her performances and leaving them smiling and dancing in their seats.
